For an independent trader like me you can’t beat Zecco. I dunno what people expect from an online execution only broker because Zecco has eveything you need. I used to really love them when you got 10 free trades but knew that wouldn’t last forever. Still under 5 bucks a trade come on

This was the first online trading platform I tried and I really liked it. Commissions are competitive and I’d say this was ideal for newby traders. I’ve moved on a little now and need a bit more but Im glad I started with TM. Helpful support.

I agree that the support isn’t up to par and there’s nothing here for an expert trader but for a noob like me the platform is easy to use and the fees are great. I’m sticking with Zecco.

Worth pointing out that the $100 bonus for new accounts if for US traders only so I didn’t qualify.

That said the service is pretty good and customer service has been great so far.

Couldn’t really get the hang of the platform … could be me I’m fairly new to online trading. Didn’t get much help from support. Fees are ok but that’s about it IMO

Zecco are still one of the cheapest brokers out there in terms of commissions and if you are an independent buy and hold investor that’s fine. Just don’t expect much help from customer service who are next to useless IMO.

Active traders will need to look some where else like Scottrade.

I switched from Ameritrade 6 months back and evrything has gone smoothly for me. There may be cheaper discount brokers out there but the research and all the help they give for beginners more than compensates. Good support too.

Been trading offline for years and finally moved online 18 months ago. Started using OX 6 months back and i think they’re pretty decent. Good tools and options and commissions are competitive.
